چکیده
The amounts of arsonoazoalbumin-As74 containing varied amounts of label were fol lowed in tissues of tumor-bearing mice after intravenous injection. The uptake and clearance rates of this material were compared with those of uncoupled arsanilate-As74. In terms of arsanilate, the uptake of a label into tumor from azoprotein approached that of the uncoupled material only with the use of extensively labeled protein (30 moles arsanilate/mole protein) . Clearance of arsanilate-As74 was virtually complete in about 24 hours, whereas 2,5—50per cent of the initial concentrations remained in tumor 8 days following injection of arsonoazoalbumin-As74. Large, persistent accumulations of arsonoazoalbumin-As74 were found within liver and kidney even with as little as 1—2moles arsanilate/mole protein. These resemble the retention found after injeëtion of other dye proteins and curb possible clinical applications. The possibility ofovercomingthishandicapwithmore precise, minimal labeling exists. The uptake in kidney and the rate of disappearance of injected arsonoazoalbumin As74 from blood varied directly with the amount of arsanilate bound to protein (within the range 2—30moles of arsanilate/mole protein). The correlation between these factors was poor for liver and tumor and negative for muscle.

Micro-pixe analysis in invasive ductal carcinoma tissues after treatment of astaxanthin
Background: Trace elements play an important role in a number of biological processes. Astaxanthin (ASX), a carotoid pigment found in certain marine plant and animals, has shown anti cancer and anti free radical properties. This work intended to understand the effect of Astaxanthin in breast cancer (invasive ductal carcinoma, IDC) by using micro-pixe method. For this aim the concentratio...

Introduction: Some factors such as exercise training and pharmacological interventions can slow tumor growth. To determine the underlying mechanisms, we investigated the effect of six weeks of interval exercise training along with ingestion on Bcl-2 and LC3 genes expression in the tumor tissue of breast tumor–bearing mice. Methods: Twelve female BALB/c mice were injected with cancer cell line a...

Background & Objective: Invasive Aspergillosis is a fatal infection in immunocompromised patients. The aim of this study was to evaluate the interaction of infectious with Aspergillus and tumor on immune response and cytokine network in Aspergillus infected tumor-bearing mice. Materials and Methods: Mice were implanted by sterile pieces of mouse mammary tumor and then infected by Aspergillus co...

The objective of this study is to investigate the anti-tumor effect of Ginkgo biloba exocarp extracts (GBEE) on B16 melanoma bearing mice and its related molecular mechanisms. The B16-F10 melanoma solid tumor model was established in C57BL/6J mice. The tumor-bearing mice were treated with GBEE (50, 100, 200 mg/kg), taking cis-Dichlorodiamineplatinum (Ⅱ) (DDP, 3 mg/kg) as pos...
متن کاملThe Effect of Interval Training on the Expression of Tumor Suppressor Gene, Systemic Inflammation, and Tumor Volume in Breast Cancer–Bearing BALB/c Mice
Introduction: E-cadherin is expressed in most normal epithelial tissues. Loss of E-cadherin can cause dedifferentiation and invasiveness in human carcinomas, leading E-cadherin to be classified as a tumor suppressor. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of interval training on the expression of tumor suppressor gene E-cadherin in breast cancer-bearing BALB/c mice. Meth...
